The collection I created is called "Upstate". It was inspired by winter in upstate New York, which is where I'm from. In New York, after mid-October when all the leaves have fallen on the ground, there is a long time where everything just looks dead and there is no color. However, after the first snowfall the snow creates a "new life" and turns the depressing dead outdoors into a new beautiful thing to look at. The way the snow glistens as it coats the tree branches and the look of a fresh untouched layer of snow on the ground is something I really miss experiencing from back home.  The idea of this collection was to create something that would keep you warm out in the cold wilderness but you could also wear to a more urban area and look stylish.
